We are delighted you will be joining us for the third annual Side by Side with the SF Chamber Orchestra.<\/p>\n
Here are all the details you will need and resources to help you prepare.<\/p>\n
Location: <\/strong>First Congregational Church of Berkeley, 2345 Channing Way, Berkeley<\/p>\nYou are invited to attend the SFCO’s Main Stage Concert at 3pm. SFCO concerts are free to the public! Whether or not you attend the concert, please be sure to check in by 4:30 for the workshop.<\/p>\n Once the concert is concluded, there will be a brief interlude and then we’ll gather onstage for the Side by Side.<\/p>\n What to bring:<\/strong> Your instrument and your music. Bass players please bring bass stool if you wish to use one.<\/p>\n Attire:<\/strong> Dress code is casual\/comfortable. Please refrain from wearing scented products such as perfume or hair spray.<\/p>\n\t I am so looking forward to our third annual string Side-by-Side with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra.\u00a0 Please come\u00a0on Sunday April 28\u00a0to our 3pm concert at Berkeley\u2019s beautiful First Congregational Church and stay to play some Elgar and Piazzolla onstage with us afterwards.\u00a0\u00a0The young and exciting Catalyst String Quartet are our featured soloists in a program that ranges from Elgar to jazz.<\/em><\/p>\n The orchestra will be performing Elgar\u2019s amazing Serenade for Strings, and we\u2019ll be working on the first movement together in our Side-by-Side.\u00a0 Once that is perfected and played through, we\u2019ll have a little musical dessert with Jeremy Cohen\u2019s arrangement of Astor Piazzolla\u2019s Libertango.\u00a0 Ol\u00e9!<\/em><\/p>\n See you all on April 28!<\/em><\/p>\n Ben<\/em><\/p>\n\t please print and bring with you to the workshop<\/p>\n Workshop Resources Hello!
