Location: <\/strong>St. John’s Presbyterian Church, 2727 College Avenue, Berkeley<\/p>\nYou are invited to attend the SFCO’s Main Stage Concert at 3pm. SFCO concerts are free to the public! You’ll hear a wonderful performance of:<\/p>\n What to bring:<\/strong> Your instrument, a music stand, and your music. Bass players please bring bass stool if you wish to use one.<\/p>\n Attire:<\/strong> Dress code is casual\/comfortable. Please refrain from wearing scented products such as perfume or hair spray.<\/p>\n\t Last year\u2019s Side-by-Side was so much fun, I\u2019m really looking forward to our second get-together\u00a0on Sunday\u00a0afternoon\u00a0April 22\u00a0in Berkeley\u2019s beautiful St. John\u2019s Presbyterian Church.\u00a0 Come at\u00a03pm\u00a0for our admission-free program of Michael Gilbertson (a world premiere),\u00a0 a Stamitz viola concerto with the amazing Juan-Miguel Hernandez, and Haydn\u2019s final symphony, No. 104 (\u201cLondon\u201d).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n In our Side-by-Side, we\u2019ll be playing a little Haydn too:\u00a0 the delightful finale of his \u201cBird\u201d string quartet (Op. 33 no. 3), the energetic Basse Danse from Warlock\u2019s wonderful Capriol Suite, and Leroy Anderson\u2019s pizzicato classic, Plink Plank Plunk, just for the fun of it!<\/em><\/p>\n See you all on\u00a0April 22!<\/em> please print and bring with you to the workshop<\/p>\n Suggested tempos for practice:<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Warlock – quarter note = 120<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Anderson – half note = 142<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Haydn – quarter note = 138<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Workshop Resources Hello!
